Ghosts season 6 spoilers: Ben Feldman to be series regular
As we await the arrival of Ghosts season 6 over at CBS, we are pleased to know of one major update behind the scenes.
According to a report from Deadline, Ben Feldman (Kyle) is going to be a series regular on the series moving forward. Given just how massive the cast of the comedy already was, it is in that way impressive that the producers were able to add someone else to the fold at all. Given the way in which the season 5 finale concluded when it comes to Pete, Kyle, and Jay, we do at least understand the reasoning behind giving us this sort of cliffhanger at this particular moment in time.

In a statement per the aforementioned website, here is some of what executive producers / showrunners Joe Wiseman and Joe Port had to say about the change:
“We’re so excited to have Ben on Ghosts this season … He’s a truly gifted actor that is equally adept at comedy and emotion, and he’s an incredible addition to an already stacked cast.”
For those who have not heard anything on the subject as of yet, we do recognize that Ghosts season 6 is going to be different from every other iteration we have seen just via its schedule alone. You are going to have a chance to see two-part specials set around Halloween and Christmas but after that, the start of the season proper is not going to be until we get around all the way to the new year. This is something that is certainly more of an experiment but from the CBS point of view here, the idea is clearly that you are working to create a little bit of space s that you can air the new comedy Eternally Yours in the fall. We will just have to wait and see if that is something that eventually works out for everyone or not.
