Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 8 spoilers: Last before finale

Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 8 is coming to Paramount+ this coming Friday, and one thing does feel abundantly clear already — the stakes are higher than ever. Also, don’t they have to be when you consider where they currently stand?
When you think about a series of this nature, it is very-much easy to assume that it is going to last for a whole ten episodes. However, that is not actually the case here. This is a nine-episode season and the finale is right around the corner. That is all the more important now when you consider how the most-recent installment left the fate of Beulah hanging in the balance in a pretty darn significant manner.

If you head over to the link here, you can see the full promo for what lies ahead, one that at least does confirm that Annette Bening’s character is not dead as of yet. It does also raise a significant question as to what Joaquin will do to step up — and beyond that, whether it is almost hurtful to assume that he is going to step up in the wake of what just happened. He has given everything to this ranch over the years, only to then see Beulah decide to trust Rob-Will to handle it down the road. He is violent and unstable — in other words, not the sort of person you would ever want to leave in charge of an institution like this the majority of the time.
No matter what happens here, we are anticipating a cliffhanger that will carry into the finale. Nothing else, at least given the nature of this show, makes a whole lot of sense.
