The Way Home season 4 episode 10 (finale) video: Saving Elliot?

This weekend marks the series finale of The Way Home and through that, we imagine we are at a place where answers are going to surface.

Now that we have said that, we do understand that there is one question in particular that needs to be answered before any other: Can Elliot actually survive? The end of episode 9 made it abundantly clear that his fate is still in question and yet, we are doing whatever we can to have a little bit of hope for his survival. Luckily, it does help that some more characters are going to do what they can to help — even if that means traveling through time once more.

If you head over to the link here now, you can see a sneak peek from The Way Home finale that shows Alice and Jacob going back to ensure that Elliot can make it through the Pond. They encounter both him and Kat there and immediately spring into action. Does this guarantee that Evan Williams’ character is going to be okay? Hardly but at the same time, it does give us at least a modicum of hope that the outcome can be moved in a positive direction.

Also, we tend to think that this is one of those universes where fate can be changed and hope can win out. For everything that has happened to all of these generations of Landry women on the show, we do continue to be hopeful that in some way, we are going to see them make it through to the other side and find happiness for themselves. This is a powerful message to pass along, and we do really think that when the dust settles, Hallmark and this show both care about the final statement they project out into the world.
