The Beauty season 2 renewal: A June 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to hear something more about The Beauty season 2 between now and the end of June?

Well, it may go without saying, but let’s just start off here by noting that the Ryan Murphy show still does not have a renewal months removed from the season 1 finale. We know that sometimes, it can take time to learn something more about a cable series like this — there are not always the same deadlines that you get over on network TV. We want to believe the longstanding connection between Murphy and FX helps the show’s chances, but there are a lot of factors that need to be considered here — including the show’s budget and a lot of the streaming numbers over on Hulu.

In general, it is our feeling that we are going to hear something by the end of the summer. However, it does still remain to be seen if that is revealed this month. FX may still be taking their time to figure it out, especially since Murphy is also busy right now working on a couple of other projects including All’s Fair as well as the long-awaited American Horror Story season 13.

Is there some more story to tell in season 2?

Well, absolutely! The first season ended in a way that suggested that everything is very much incomplete and it feels like there is at least one more chapter of story to tell. As for beyond that, we’ll just have to wait and see. We tend to think that The Beauty is going to continue to be big, bold, and crazy — at least provided that the producers follow the trend of what we saw during season 1.
