The Diplomat season 4 premiere date: A May 2026 update

As we approach the end of May, are we about to get some big news regarding The Diplomat season 4 over at Netflix?

For those who have not heard about the future of the Keri Russell series, we should begin by noting that the cameras have been rolling on the next chapter for a good while now. The hope is that everyone will wrap soon and within that, the producers can then focus fully on editing and creating another iteration of the story that is as strong as the first three.

So does all of this align with a release at some point this year? Of course, that is something that would be great to see; at the same time, it is not a sure thing. Netflix has been good to get new seasons of The Diplomat out there on an annual basis, something that is a rare luxury for them when you consider the long breaks between seasons for some of their other shows. Our hope is obviously that they can find a way to keep that going, even if that means we are stuck waiting until November or December to see the fourth season arrive.

No matter when season 4 comes out, the sad reality here is that you are not going to be getting any exact news in the relatively near future. From where we stand, the most likely scenario here is that we are going to be learning more about it at some point in either late summer or early fall. Good things come to those who wait and for now, we have every reason to think that there is going to be some great stuff around the corner.
