Stick season 2 premiere date: A May 2026 update

At some point between now and the end of this month, is there a chance we could hear something more regarding a Stick season 2 at Apple TV?

Of course, it does go without saying here that it would be nice to be able to dive into the Owen Wilson golf comedy soon, especially since filming has already been wrapped up. Also, can you argue that this is really the perfect summer show? Absolutely, but here is the issue: Given that the aforementioned streaming service already has Ted Lasso set for August, they may not feel much of a pressing need to rush into anything more here.

Because of what we spelled out above, we are going to say that the odds of us learning more about a Stick season 2 premiere date this month are pretty close to zero. Also, while filming may be done, we are not that confident that the episodes have been edited together as of yet. That is a process that may still take a certain amount of time, and that is why the best-case scenario here is that we see the show back this fall.

Obviously, our hope story-wise is that we do continue to see the same hopeful tone and positive energy that we had throughout much of season 1 — along with the laughs and the occasional emotional moment. Is there a chance that we could also a few more cameos from people within the golf world? If nothing else, we think the odds are even higher than in season 1 since a lot of the athletes are going to know what the show is all about now. Because of that, they do not have to worry about embarrassment in the way that they may have otherwise. This is actually a chance for them to represent the game and perhaps even grow it.
