Next week on Apple TV, you are going to have a chance to see Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 episode 9 officially arrive. What all is there to say?

Perhaps the most important thing at present here is simply noting that the end is near, as there are only two more installments to go for the Jon Hamm drama this go-around. While we know that a season 3 has already been ordered, we will have to wait a while until then — and who knows what sort of trouble Coop could get himself into first? (It should be noted here that before he does anything else, he has to unravel himself from the trouble that came about at the end of this week’s installment.)

Alliances are tested when Coop, Barney, and Nick attend a dinner at Ashe’s mansion.

Is this story going to set the stage in some way for Ashe’s downfall? Well, a lot of that may just be tied to whether or not you think that James Marsden is meant to have a one-season arc on the show or not. It is easy to argue that in terms of the format, but we also tend to think that this may be a series out to surprise us in some way. After all, you can especially argue that about season 2 in general — especially since over the past couple of episodes, Coop has really been one of the more stable members of his family. (There does remain a crazy amount of irony in that.)
