Is Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD new tonight, May 20?
Is Chicago Med new tonight on NBC? Beyond that, are we also about to get more of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD?
Of course, we are well-aware that the most recent episodes of all three shows raised some interesting questions and, in some cases, delivered some shocking moments in the final minutes. There are lives of multiple characters hanging in the balance!

We would love to be able to sit here and say that there is going to be closure for all of this in the relatively near future, but here is where we come to the bad news: That’s just not going to happen. Last week’s installments for all three shows mark the big finales, meaning that we are now in the midst of a waiting game until they all come back for more. NBC is planning to air them once again on Wednesday nights this fall, but specific premiere dates may not be announced until we get around to late June or July.
Perhaps one of the most interesting things about where we are right now is that while the writers / producers may have a reasonable idea of where the next seasons will start for all three shows, it remains to be seen if that vision is actually executed. We are still super-early days and we imagine that filming is still a good stretch of time away. A lot can change between now and then but if there is one good thing we can share at present, it is this: There is no evidence that any of the One Chicago shows will be ending anytime soon.
