The Testaments season 2 renewal official ahead of season 1 finale

With the finale for The Testaments season 1 coming to Hulu next week, we do have so much more to say regarding the future.

According to a new report right now from Deadline, the spin-off to The Handmaid’s Tale has already been renewed for another batch of episodes. This comes on the heels of a really strong performance for the first season all across the board. Not only has viewership been strong for the streaming service, but creatively we have seen here a series of great twists and turns building up to the aforementioned finale. There is in general, so much to be excited about, and also a great chance of a cliffhanger later on.

So no that we know that a second season is coming, the question then turns into just when the show will premiere. Our hope is that we are going to have a chance to see the series return at some point moving into 2027, as this show does not take a crazy amount of time to make at least compared to some that have lengthy amounts of time spent in post-production.

In the end, we really just hope that there is an opportunity here to see the show deliver on all fronts moving forward, and that we get a little bit more news all about the second season heading into the finale. Is here a chance at a cliffhanger, or some more cameos from the original series? For the time being, we do at least tend to think almost anything here is possible — just as we think it is easy to imagine that the show ends up lasting for at least a few more seasons.
