Is NCIS new tonight on CBS? We recognize that there are a lot of people out there who could be more than eager to see more of the show.
Unfortunately, we are going to be waiting a rather long time to get a resolution to the big cliffhanger regarding Mateo and Nick Torres. There is no installment tonight, as last week served as the season 23 finale. The good news is that the show has already been renewed for season 24, so that is not something that you have to worry about now. It is really just a matter of when it is going to premiere!

For now, we are moving forward with the expectation that the next chapter of the crime drama is more than likely going to arrive at some point moving into either late September or early October; it would be a surprise if we get anything different, mostly based on what we’ve seen in past years. Filming should begin over the course of the summer.
As for what the story is going to be…
Well, the first order of business here is giving an element of closure to what is happening with Torres and Mateo — plus, how that will impact McGee, who is at the center of everything. From there, we are sure that the crime drama will at least move closer to what is its typical rhythm.
One other thing that are curious about already is just how many crossovers we could have between this and the upcoming New York spin-off, which is poised to star LL Cool J as Sam Hanna. We are sure more info on that will come out in due time.
