When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere date: A May 2026 update

Is there a chance we are going to hear more on When Calls the Heart season 14 between now and the end of the month?

Of course, we should start off this piece by reminding everyone that the Hallmark Channel drama will be back for more and for the time being, we are just in the midst of a waiting game for news. The biggest headline at present is the return of Lori Loughlin as Abigail, and we are hoping for a number of other big stories including an Elizabeth / Nathan wedding.

So is there any chance at all that we’ll get When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere-date news anytime soon? Most likely no, and in general, we think it makes sense to go through the rest of the month here with little to no expectations. There is no real reason for the powers-that-be to state much before filming has even kicked off! We know that in past seasons, production tends to kick off over the summer; it remains to be seen if Erin Krakow’s real-life pregnancy factors into anything schedule-wise, as scenes and storylines can be filmed out of order. (For now, her health and happiness have to be top priority!)

No matter what happens in the months ahead, we do feel pretty darn confident that season 14 is worth waiting for — and also that there are going to be some opportunities to continue expressing the themes of hope and love that we’ve seen here for so many years. There is nothing out there suggesting that season 14 will be the final one, so let’s just cross our fingers and hope for more great stuff down the road!
