Next week on CBS you are going to have a chance to dive into Elsbeth season 3 episode 20 — are you ready for a big-time finale?

Based on what we are hearing now about the story titled “That’s All,” there is so much great stuff to be excited about. For starters, you have a pair of great guest stars in Patti LuPone and Michael Urie. Beyond just that, there is also a mystery that sounds all sorts of fun and if we are lucky, it is going to deliver both a satisfying end and hopefully a tease moving into the next season, as well.

To get a few more details now on what is to come, check out the full Elsbeth season 3 episode 20 synopsis below:

“That’s All” – A minor royal’s mysterious death at New York’s most legendary hotel brings Elsbeth into a world of faded elegance, cabaret and murder, on the season three finale of ELSBETH, Thursday, May 21 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).

Obviously, that is not giving you any indication as to what some potential long-term stories here are, but why would you think that the show would suddenly change what it does? This is not a network that often does anything more with the Carrie Preston show in advance; really, you just have to watch and see if there is a jaw-dropping cliffhanger or a major exit. For now, we can simply just be happy about the fact that we are going to get a season 4 down the road. That is also something the writers had to expect they were getting in advance, so that means less pressure to tie together every single loose end.
