Outer Banks season 5 premiere date: A new Netflix update
If you have been out there eager to learn something more about Outer Banks season 5, there is at least one small thing we can now share: Confirmation that you will see the Pogues back in action this year!
According to Deadline, the big 2026 reveal was made during Netflix’s upfront presentation today, one that brought many of the cast together to fete and celebrate what has been an incredible legacy for the series. It has routinely been one of the streaming service’s most successful shows and beyond just that, we tend to think that it could draw even more headlines with its final chapter. We are still aware that concluding a show like this is hard and because of that,

In speaking about what the story ahead could potentially be here, Madison Bailey reportedly had the following to say:
“This season, our characters start out in an interesting place because of last season’s shocking finale, we’ll get to explore that … And as always, the stakes are high and the relationships between characters are going to be tested. We also tried to bring everyone home and wrap up the series in a way that the fans will hopefully love.”
What we imagine is that the death of JJ is still going to loom large over the Pogues but at the same time, the writers will work to ensure that many big story elements from the past are not forgotten here. After all, this is still a great chance to pay homage to everything that we have known the show to be from the start, one that has embraced adventure and a whole lot more over the course of time.
