Only Murders in the Building season 6 premiere date: May update
Is there a chance that we are going to hear more about an Only Murders in the Building season 6 premiere date before May is over? What about news on the show in general?
Well, first and foremost, we understand if there are some people out there who are getting a little impatient at the moment. Typically, the Hulu comedy starts filming by this time of the year and yet, it has not happened yet. The last we saw Martin Short and Selena Gomez in particular, they were promoting his Netflix documentary on the red carpet. This is not the reason for a delay here — technically, there is no delay at all. The start of production is simply later this year than it has been in the past.

What we do know about the next chapter of the Arconia trio is rather simple: They are heading off to London, which is going to be the setting for the next chapter of the mystery. Cinda Canning is dead, and they will traverse through the city to try to get answers as to what happened there. We imagine that a lot of new cast members will be added for the year, and we do tend to think we’ll hear about them in due time — including potentially later this month.
So are we going to get a premiere date reveal soon? Hardly. Due to the later start, we honestly wonder if we will see the sixth season this year at all — and if it happens, we tend to think it will be around November. The good news is that this is a show that does tend to have a shorter post-production cycle than a lot of other ones out there.
