While FX and Ryan Murphy are keeping a lot of the finer details unclear regarding American Horror Story season 13, we can say this regarding the cast: More people from his collection of shows are coming on board.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Anthony Kelly, who recently played John F. Kennedy Jr. in Love Story, is going to be a part of the next chapter of the franchise alongside returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts. The group all made an appearance together at the Disney upfront presentation today, which offers up yet another reason to be stoked for what is ahead. We know that at least part of the next chapter is going to be tied to season 13 Coven, but is all of it? Consider that at least one ongoing mystery.

Kelly is oddly not the only star with a Murphy connection making their Horror Story debut this season, as Ariana Grande (previously of Scream Queens) is also going to play some sort of role. With the long-term future of the franchise still up in the air, we do still appreciate the commitment here to trying to make this chapter of the series as momentous as humanly possible. It feels like there is real momentum behind the show in a way that we have not really had since Apocalypse.

As for when we are going to get real footage for what is ahead, it is almost equally fair to wonder if we ever will. This is not a show that often has an extensive promotional campaign, and prefers to keep a lot of their cards a little bit close to the vest.
