“Defector” – The theft of a bioweapon from an unwitting defector forces the team to work with an old foe to secure the lethal pathogen and prevent an outbreak in N.Y.C. Also, OA’s future on the team is put into question, on the season eight finale of FBI, Monday, May 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Will there be a cliffhanger?

Of course, reading this makes us immediately nervous about OA, largely because Wolf Entertainment shows do have a history of cast shake-ups. In a way, you can argue that this one has been fortunate to have some of its core characters as long as it has, as that is certainly not a guarantee for a lot of other series out there. Beyond that, we do think there is potential for a lot of other life-or-death situations to exist! We are just glad that a season 9 has already been ordered, as that does take some guesswork out of whatever the future could be.
