Next week on CBS you are going to have a chance to dive into Elsbeth season 3 episode 19 — so what more can we say about it now?
Well, first and foremost, let’s just start off by noting that there will be some potentially seismic stuff transpiring here, mostly because of where we are in the story. There are only two installments left, so how can there not be? Whatever happens at this point is almost sure to carry over to the finale, so we tend to think it best to be prepare in advance.

“Catch and Kill” – Elsbeth battles a veteran gossip columnist (Tracey Ullman) who trades in people’s secrets – and may have killed to keep her own, on ELSBETH, Thursday, May 14 (9:01-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
One of the fun things about this episode is obviously seeing Ullman back, but as a totally different character than she was the first go-around. This is clearly the producers messing around a bit with one of the common crime-TV tropes, and that is having actors playing multiple roles on the same show. We do tend to think there is a lot of fun to be had with the story here and in the end, we hope that the case is as unpredictable as anything we have seen so far.
As for the long-term future…
Just remember that Elsbeth has already been renewed for a season 4! By virtue of that, we’re happy to have at least one less thing to worry about over the days ahead.
