Based on the promo that we’ve had a chance to see for the Chicago Med season 11 finale, one thing feels abundantly clear: Everything is hitting the fan.

With that in mind, what questions are going to be front and center? Well, some of that begins with wondering just what we will be seeing happen with Hannah giving birth. Is there a real chance that we are going to be seeing everything go okay? Obviously, we are doing our best to be hopeful for the future but at the same time, this is a show where difficult things often happen. We’re just not ready to see Asher go given how connected she is to a multitude of different stories.

As for what else the promo gives away as to what lies ahead, at one point, Dean Archer’s life is going to be in danger in a completely different way: He’s at gunpoint! We’ve joked over the years that Chicago Med is mostly the show it is because there are people constantly trying to murder the doctors and ultimately, this finale seems to be hitting that note once again. Once again, we do hope for survival and ultimately, the thing that gives us some hope that Dean will survive is that he is needed. If you get rid of him, it is one less person that could conceivably help.

While this particular preview does not guarantee a cliffhanger is coming by any means, we do still think that it is possible — if not likely, mostly due to the rather simple fact that this show has done a number of them over the years. We don’t think it necessarily needs one, but why would that stop anyone behind the scenes?
