Chicago PD season 13 episode 21 (finale) spoilers: ‘Born or Made’

Next week on NBC, the big moment is finally here in the form of the Chicago PD season 13 finale. Episode 21 is titled “Born or Made” and from what we understand at present, it could very much continue everything we see tonight.

Want a few examples? Well, it begins with better understanding that the Imani story is reaching some sort of conclusion … but this is also a pretty dark show. It would be a mistake to sit here and assume the story will end one way or another. We do hope the character sticks around for more seasons, though, mostly because we do not want to see this position suddenly become some revolving door.

Should you expect a huge cliffhanger?

We go either way on this. Chicago PD has delivered so many life-or-death situations in their final minutes of finales over time that it is a reminder that you really cannot do that every single time. There is a benefit that comes from doing something different and finding a way to mix things up. At the same time, if you do have a really great idea as to how to wrap things up here in shocking fashion, why in the world would you ever run away from it?

In the aftermath of all of this, we are pretty sure a long summer break is coming. While a season 14 has already been confirmed, we will likely not see it until either late September or early October.
