Chicago Med season 11 episode 21 (finale) spoilers: Absolute chaos?
As we prepare to see Chicago Med season 11 episode 21 on NBC next week, are you truly prepared for the drama to escalate? We hope so, largely due to the fact that this is the finale and by far, we’re at the most pivotal part of the story. Everything could hit the fan and we’re certainly prepared for that — alongside a big-time cliffhanger and some character reveals.
Could a cast member depart by the time the hour is over? We sure hope not but given the specific history of the series, everything feels possible. Move forward with that in mind.

While we know that there is going to be a perpetual temptation to deliver some sort of draw-dropping conclusion at the end of these shows, we do think that the writers should ultimately just focus on what comes naturally. If that is a cliffhanger, then awesome! If not, we do not think there is anything wrong with coming up with some sort of emotional ending that allows everyone to start off the next season with what is largely a blank slate. Both of these are effective in their own way, and we have a lot of faith in the writers to pull something off.
The most important thing in our mind is quite simple: Create a finale that in a lot of ways, feels like a reflection of the rest of the season. It should culminate a lot of the plotlines we’ve seen so far and if that happens, we’ll be more than a little bit satisfied.
