Euphoria season 3 episode 2 spoilers: A new Rue, Jules tease

Tomorrow night on HBO, we are finally going to have a chance to dive more into Euphoria season 3 episode 2 — and what exactly does that mean?

Well, for starters, this story is going to mark a chance to add something more to this universe — beyond, of course, everything that we saw within the premiere. There was a lot of story in there for the likes of Rue and Cassie; however, Jules was nowhere to be seen. What gives?

Well, here is what we are happy to share now. Photos released by the network in advance of this episode confirm wholeheartedly that you will be seeing Zendaya and Hunter Schafer share at least one scene together in episode 2. Given how Rue and Jules were essential for almost all the first two seasons, we welcome this as much as possible in season 3. One of the big questions we had coming into all of this was how the producers were going to find a way to link up these characters in disparate spots.

As for what Jules’ story is poised to be this time around, at least part of it is going to be tied to her career as an artist, which is likely going to be full of its own trials and tribulations.

One more thing to note

This episode is also going to bring you a posthumous appearance from Eric Dane, who filmed multiple scenes on the show amidst his battle with ALS. It remains to be seen just how much he factors into the overall story, but this could be a case of his own bravery and commitment lifting up almost everyone else around him.
