Survivor 50 episode 7 spoilers: The sting of betrayal

Today the folks over at CBS have shared some of the latest info about Survivor 50 episode 7 — so what do we know about it at this point?

Well, first and foremost, the three groups are going to have to come back together after the Blood Moon Tribal Council and on paper, it doesn’t really feel like there would be that much blowback. Colby was injured, and there was no way that Genevieve was going to survive in that configuration of players. Could Tiffany spread the word on Jonathan’s duplicity? Sure, and that may be at least a part of what happens moving forward.

After all, the Survivor 50 episode 7 synopsis does suggest that things are going to be chaotic in the game moving forward:

“That’s Not How I Play Survivor” – Feelings of betrayal hit an all-time high following a historic Blood Moon tribal that featured three eliminations. One person is selected to go on a journey with the potential to earn an advantage. Then, a schoolyard pick at this week’s challenge leads one team to reward and one individual to immunity, on SURVIVOR 50, Wednesday, April 8 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Jeff Probst serves as host and executive producer.

Now, here is where we do wonder if this is going to be when we have an actual Tribal Council featuring all of the remaining players — after all, there are fourteen of them left in the game now. (Remember that Ozzy and Rizo were on Exile Island and presumably are going to be back in the game now.) The cast for the season has been great, but we wouldn’t blame anyone who feels like the sheer number of twists has taken away from the game.
