Next week on CBS you are going to have a chance to see Sheriff Country season 1 episode 14 arrive — so what stories are going to stand out here?

Well, first and foremost, we gotta mention that a Blood Moon Festival is coming and ironically, this is the not the first time we have discussed Blood Moons and a CBS show this week. (Did you see what Survivor did with that whole triple elimination earlier this week?) “Show of Force” is going to be one of the more intense stories that we’ve seen this season, mostly because there is only going to be so much time for Mickey and the rest of the team to operate. If they make one wrong move, the future for almost everyone could be completely up in smoke.

“Show of Force” – During Edgewater’s Blood Moon Festival, Sheriff Mickey races to stop a suspected serial killer targeting young women. Meanwhile, a shocking discovery propels deputy Cassidy into the crosshairs of the case, on SHERIFF COUNTRY, Friday, April 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

No matter what happens over the course of this episode, we do believe that one of the goals for the writers here is going to be to stabilize things following the crossover tonight — and beyond that, also set the table for the remainder of the season. We do anticipate that some of the biggest stuff this season is still to come, and we also know that the series is going to be back for a season 2.
