Paradise season 3 spoilers: Sterling K. Brown promises answers

We are just days removed of course from the end of Paradise season 2 and yet, we cannot help ourselves from talking about season 3! We know that it is coming, though at the same time, we also know that there is a chance it ends up being the final chapter of the story. At the very least, this is something that we have to brace ourselves for given that creator Dan Fogelman and star Sterling K. Brown have spoken about it before.

So is there a chance that the series ends and you still have a million or so different questions? Absolutely, but this is where we will state that this is certainly not the plan as currently constructed.

Speaking via The Hollywood Reporter, Brown himself noted that there is a real plan to deliver more answers once we get to the end of the series:

“Fogelman will say blatantly that Lost was formidable in helping him conceive This Is Us and of Paradise. The way that the past affects and influences the present, and also then the future, is something we play around with in both shows. So all I can really say is that when Paradise is all done, it will all make sense.”

As of right now, however, it is fair to be confused about just about everything. Remember that at the end of season 2 Xavier received a card to seek out Alex, which could supposedly lead to us understanding if we are witnessing time travel or rather, something a little bit more complicated. Right now, it feels like there are multiple timelines at play, including some that were created by the super-computer / AI. However, nobody in the present seems to be fully aware of that.
