Paradise season 3 spoilers: Is another climate crisis coming?

We know moving into Paradise season 3 on Hulu that the remaining characters have already gone through all sorts of terrible stuff. Think in terms of cataclysmic climate events, multiple Presidents getting murdered, and then also the evacuation of the bunker.

Now, to think that somehow, everything could be starting to get so much worse moving forward. If you think back to the history of the show, then you know that in terms of environmental disasters, a prediction was made that there would be a calm period … but that things would get worse again. Are we going to see that play out?

Well, speaking on the subject to TVLine, star Sterling K. Brown certainly suggested that something like this could be a huge part of the story moving forward:

There is something else, climate-wise, that shall transpire, that the people will have to deal with in Season 3, that may be something — a catalyst for action.

Does this action mean utilizing Alex in order to go back to the past, or having it change the future? We recognize that it is one of those things that we have to consider at this point, mostly because we know what this super-computer / AI is capable of on some level. Sinatra clearly believes that it is going to be the path to saving the future, and there is a chance that this will be the case. Yet, at the same time we do wonder if the show is eventually going to lead towards a message that you cannot change what has already transpired, even if you really want to. Instead, the biggest thing you can hope for is just trying to find a way to create your own Paradise, even if it proves hard.
