Well, if there is one thing that this show has demonstrated to us time and time again over the years, it is that they are constantly invested in throwing all sorts of drama at the title character — largely from his past. To make matters worse, this could be coming in the midst of another problem that he and the rest of the team are working to solve. There are issues happening all across the board here and in the end, we’ll have to see just who contends with them and also how.

A hospital hostage crisis traps Will, Nico and Angie. Outside, Faith, Franklin and Ormewood hunt the shooter, while a burner call warns that a figure from Will’s past is returning to Atlanta.

Ultimately, this episode could be hyper-intense for a number of reasons, with one of the biggest ones being that you are going to be putting characters in a relatively confined space for a large stretch of time. How are they going to be able to deal with that? Will someone be able to help Will amidst everything else that is going on?

While we would not say that we are officially in the home stretch of the season yet, we have reached a point where it is looming around the corner. By virtue of that, the biggest thing that we can all do is simply try to prepare for the tension to ratchet up from one week into the next.
