With us now moving into the spring, is there a chance for some more big news when it comes to Presumed Innocent season 2 over at Apple TV?

Well, let’s just start off here by making one thing rather clear: We are more than a little bit eager to get the next chapter of the show back, especially since it has been a long time since we last saw it. We do recognize already that things are going to look and feel fairly different moving forward, starting off with the fact that we are going to see a new lead in Rachel Brosnahan accompanied by a totally-new story. This is not a show trying to replicate what it did with Jake Gyllenhaal in season 1, and is going to work however it can to present an entirely new coat of paint and a case stuffed full of twists and turns.

So when are we actually going to learn more about the road ahead? We can only hope that it happens sooner rather than later, but it may be a little too soon to expect some additional news before the spring is over. After all, our feeling is that late summer or fall makes the most sense for season 2 based on when production could wrap up, let alone when the editors have the amount of time necessary to make these episodes perfect.

In the end, we just hope that the next batch of episodes is going to be every bit as entertaining as what we saw the first time around — and given that the source material this time around is nowhere near as famous, that does make it that there could be more uncertainty in the story itself.
