Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 premiere date: A spring 2026 update

Based on what we saw last year with Criminal Minds: Evolution, it feels like season 19 news is right around the corner … or is it? Just what can we realistically expect at this point?

Well, first and foremost, we do think it is fair to state the following: As of this writing, nothing has been altogether confirmed when it comes to a premiere date for the next chapter. Filming for it actually wrapped up a good while back and based on that alone, of course we would love to imagine that Paramount+ has the future figured out. Season 18 premiered in May, so why not do that again? Or, what about June? Even in its streaming form, the show does still have the DNA of the broadcast original; it does make sense to have it around at a time when a lot of the major network shows are off the air.

Because of everything that we have shared above, we do feel reasonably confident that we are going to learn more about Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 before the spring is done. There’s a good chance the season starts airing and if not that, we may at least get to hear about an actual date.

To go along with all of this, we are also hoping for some sort of firm news about season 20 at the same time. There is no future locked-in here but from where we stand, it only makes sense for us to be building towards some sort of iconic number like that. We certainly do not want a final season anytime soon but if it ends with 20, that would at least make some sense.
