Paradise season 2 episode 6: Will Xavier and Teri reunite?
As we get prepared to see Paradise season 2 episode 6 arriving on Hulu next week, it is clear that we are closer in theory to some answers. In particular, we mean that on the big question related to Xavier and Teri — are they actually close to reuniting? Or, is this an instance of “one step closer, two steps back”?
Before we dive any further into this at present, let’s begin with what we know — namely, that Gary has not told Sterling K. Brown’s character the full truth about his wife. It does feel like she is out there but, at the same time, the former mailman is not to be trusted. He is going to do what he can to stop a reunion at all costs — mostly so that she will stay with him, especially because he loves her.

So is there a chance that the reunion is coming this season, or even next week? Some of it remains to be seen but speaking to Gold Derby, writer Katie French (who penned episode 5) did her best to set up the future:
I wanted it in my episode! It was really hard to write this episode because I wanted to feel that they were on two sides of a reality, and they’re just separated from this space by time. They’re walking in the same spaces; he’s seeing the place that his wife was. We’re flashing through that so we see this closeness that they can’t quite make it onto the same frame of digital camera or film together. I think we we’re all really anxious to try and get them together. I can’t spoil when that will be, but hopefully it comes to a very satisfying reunion for everybody when they see it.
What we know is that as of right now, there are two hurdles that Xavier still needs to jump over here: The fact that he doesn’t know the full story about Gary, and that we don’t technically know where Teri actually is. We will see if these get resolved in episode 6, or some other point down the road.
