Pluribus season 2 premiere date: The worst-case scenario
There are few shows out there we are as excited to dive back into as Pluribus on Apple TV — how can we not be based on the first season?
Well, first and foremost, we are infinitely aware at this point of the fact that the Vince Gilligan series is facing a long wait. Such is the case when the creator has mentioned that it’s going to be a while to get the show back, and there are no specific filming dates out there yet. It feels like a release in 2026 is more or less impossible, and we will be lucky in the event we see the series back at some point next year.

So is there really a terrible scenario here where we are stuck waiting until 2028 to see the show back? We hate it but at the same time, it does feel like it could still be possible. After all, we are talking here about an Apple TV show and it is worth remembering that Severance had basically a three-year wait between seasons. We do not think that this is something the creative team wants, but the priority here is going to be nailing the story above all else.
One thing that we have found interesting as of late is the notion that this show is designed to air in the fall more so than any other time of year. If we are stuck waiting until 2028, does it really have to be late in the year? We don’t tend to think so, all things considered. One of the things that we have to remember is that because we are so far out from a season 2 premiere, there is so much that could conceivably change.
