Sheriff Country, Fire Country crossover: New insight from CBS!

For those who are eager to see a Fire Country – Sheriff Country crossover event at CBS, why not share a few more details today!

Over the past few months, it did feel like something like this was going to happen. It is one of the reasons why CBS wanted a spin-off in the first place here and with that, they can try to generate big ratings with an epic story featuring a lot of cast members.

Let’s get to the good news now. According to TVLine, the two-part crossover event is going to happen on Friday, April 3. One story is going to lead directly into the next, with the Morena Baccarin drama leading the way. Below, you can see synopses that give you a reasonably good sense of what is ahead.

Sheriff Country – “A mysterious school bus explosion leaves nine students missing … Sheriff Mickey Fox and Cal Fire Division Chief Sharon Leone must set aside their personal conflicts and unite their departments to try and crack the case.”

Fire Country – “With the clock ticking and the fate of nine missing students on the line, firefighter Bode Leone and Deputy Nathan Boone must risk it all in order to save innocent lives.”

Ultimately, we know that these two shows are going to be back for additional seasons, so there is also room for some more crossovers a little bit later on down the road! We really like the timing of this event, if for no other reason then it will allow each show to build up some extremely important stories after the fact. They do each need a finale that is important to them individually, mostly because not every viewer out there actually watches both of them. Balancing the crossovers with the non-crossovers is something that is extremely important.
