Is Adelaide Kane leaving Grey’s Anatomy? Is Jules getting fired?

Is Adelaide Kane leaving Grey’s Anatomy heading into season 22 episode 13 next week on ABC? Let’s just say that we at least understand some of the concern.

After all, consider the following here first and foremost: What may have happened during the operation. Jules is clearly in a delicate spot based on the promo for what is ahead, mostly as she and Kavita both prepare for the presentation. They will each be questioned about their work, one that led to a patient having a hole in their chest. Who is responsible? Who is telling the truth?

We are certainly quite concerned about what is going to happen to Jules within this episode, but we will say that at the same time, this is a really excellent premise for this story. Think about it like this — how many opportunities are there to really look at this sort of issue in healthcare? This is really about responsibility and also what people are going to do in order to save their jobs.

For Jules in particular, one of the biggest resources she may have in this situation is Winston, someone who should very-much know when she is being truthful at this point. Is he going to be able to help her? This does make for a really interesting dynamic, and one that could greatly impact the long-term future of Jules at the hospital.

(For the record, we have yet to hear anything that suggests that Kane is leaving the show, but we also know that there could be budget cuts for a potential 23 — such is the situation we are left to deal with in an era where linear television is struggling more and more.)
