The Madison trailer: See more of Michelle Pfeiffer, cast

We know that the premiere of The Madison is coming to Paramount+ at some point next month, so what more can we say about it?

Well, first and foremost, let’s begin here by noting that the Michelle Pfeiffer drama is looking to present something very-much different from other series from executive producer Taylor Sheridan. While it may look similar in some ways visually to Yellowstone, this is not the story of an enormous ranch. Rather, it is a family drama about a group of people working to contend with their grief. The show has two different settings in New York and Montana, and features a number of characters looking to discover parts of themselves that they may not have known existed in the past.

Oh, and did we mention that there is a fantastic cast beyond just Pfeiffer? You have Kurt Russell, Suits star Patrick J. Adams, and one-time Lost lead Matthew Fox among some up-and-comers. The series is meant to be subtle and emotional rather than over-the-top, and we are curious to learn just how it is going to work.

You can view the trailer for The Madison over at the link here. This series is a risk for Paramount for a few reasons, but one of the biggest is the simple revelation that it is airing on Saturdays. This is an extremely rare thing for any show to do, so why is the streaming service so confident that this is going to work? It may be them banking on both star power and then also Sheridan’s resume of hits. This also could give us something more from the producer as we wait to see The Dutton Ranch down the road.
