Is High Potential new tonight on ABC? If you getting a little bit antsy after the lack of a new episode last week, we totally don’t blame you! We tend to think that the situation is only exacerbated further by the fact that there is a new installment of Will Trent coming up shortly.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Kaitlin Olson series at present. There is no episode tonight and instead, the plan is to bring it back on March 3. So why the wait? We tend to think there are multiple factors at play here, with the Winter Olympics impacting things this week and then the State of the Union being broadcast on February 24. Given that High Potential is so much further along than Will Trent in its season, that does help to have the overall picture make sense.

So if you do want something to set the table for what is ahead, here it is — the title of the March 3 episode (otherwise known as season 2 episode 13) is “In the Driver’s Seat.” Meanwhile, the synopsis below sets the stage:
The team investigates a late-night luxury car heist turned deadly, uncovering a complex web of details and multiple perpetrators; Morgan has mixed feelings when Ava begins focusing on her future.
Based on everything we’ve listed off above, this does very-much feel like a story that is right in the sweet spot for this show. We are talking, after all, about one looking to mix some weekly cases with personal elements. This has been a pattern for this show ever since the beginning, and we have a hard time thinking that this is going to change anytime in the near future.
