Ponies season 2 renewal: A February 2026 update

Is there a chance we are going to hear something more about Ponies season 2 between now and the end of February?

At this point, it has been a handful of weeks since the first season of the spy drama arrived on Peacock, and we do personally believe it to be a rather great success. The show was largely well-received by audiences, and it definitely helps that it features someone like Emilia Clarke (pictured above), who audiences have a long history with dating back to Game of Thrones. This is easy one of those shows that could have more stories to tell, and it really comes down at this point to what the streaming service has plotted out at present.

Are there reasons to hope that a Ponies renewal is coming before the month is over? Sure, and it connects back to basically everything that we said above! However, we still can’t sit here and say that it is guaranteed and even if a season 2 order is revealed, it does not have to be announced anytime soon. Early renewals are typically useful as a vote of confidence, but Peacock could technically take a few months to figure this out.

From our vantage point, one of the most important things is simply that the streamer tries to capitalize on the success of this show in whatever way that they can. Within that, we’re hoping already that there is a chance to see the show return at some point in 2027. With first-year shows in particular, there is a fear that if you are off too long, not everyone out there may be hooked enough to come back if there is some extraordinarily long break.
