The Pitt season 2 episode 7 promo: Dr. Jack Abbot is back!

Just in case you were not excited to see The Pitt season 2 episode 7 on HBO Max next week, let’s start with Shawn Hatosy. After all, he is back as Dr. Jack Abbot!

Following his Emmy win as a guest star in season 1, the longtime John Wells collaborator is seemingly back in the same capacity here. However, Abbot’s appearance may not be the same as you would predict. It felt easy to imagine that amidst the Westbridge crisis he would simply turn up as reinforcements … but why is he there in military fatigues? We knew that he had a history in the armed services, but the exact nature of him being there now remains to be seen. We just think that his personal history with Robby is going to raise some more interesting questions as to what sort of story he has this go-around.

If you head over to the link here, you can see a full preview now for what lies ahead that features Abbot, more drama at the hospital, but then also a key moment with Robby and Langdon. While the two wait for a helicopter to arrive, Patrick Ball’s character does the thing that he has been waiting to do for a while: Apologize. He wants to clearly get on the same page with Robby, but the problem here remains that Robby himself is having a hard time dealing with his own guilt.

We are getting very close at this point to the halfway mark of the season and through that, we are of the belief that everything will be getting that much more intense. That is without a doubt exciting, but we can’t ignore the fact that there is still a larger crisis that could be hitting the hospital…
