Cross season 2 episode 4 air date, what lies ahead

Following what you see today on Prime Video, is this the perfect time to get more into Cross season 2 episode 4? On some level, we tend to think so! There is a lot of great stuff still to come for this particular season, one that is going to take the title character into some interesting and dangerous places.
In general, we hope that this batch of episodes has a chance to both push the envelope and introduce some new dynamics into the story! If you have not heard too much about it as of yet, go ahead and check out the synopsis below:
Season Two pushes the series into a bolder, more dangerous chapter as billionaire business titan Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) calls the FBI for protection after receiving a death threat — one that links him to the murder of a billionaire playboy. Detective Alex Cross and FBI Agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) lead a new joint mission to protect Durand and to find the killer, who leaves behind gruesome clues. Meanwhile, John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), Cross’ partner and longtime best friend, makes an unexpected connection.

Why the different release schedule this time around?
If you were not aware, the plan is for Cross season 2 episode 4 to air next week, and the series is going to have a weekly rollout over the remainder of the season. We tend to think that this move is tied in part to the show wanting to stay a part of the conversation for a longer period of time, which makes sense. When you release the entirety of a season at once, it can make stories blend together and fall off the map a little bit quicker. This sort of scaled release schedule is fairly common for Prime Video shows in their second season; by virtue of that, we cannot be super-shocked that it is happening now.
