Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 teaser: More on James Marsden role

With the premiere of Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 coming to Apple TV in April, we are starting to get a better sense of what is ahead.
The end of the first season absolutely served as a table-setter for the next chapter, as Jon Hamm’s character of Coop made the decision to not willingly return to his old profession. He had a golden opportunity to go back to the life he lost and opted to shun it to stay a thief. The idea of it is absurd, just as it also is that he has not been arrested so far for any of his crimes. He’s often reckless, but maybe that is the point. So many people in his affluent community seem to be so oblivious that their security is more than a little bit lax.

With all of this being said, is it all about to change, and courtesy of James Marsden? If you head over to the link here, you can see the newly-released Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 teaser that raises this very question. The Paradise star is playing one of Coop’s new neighbors, someone who seemingly wastes little time learning about his secret. As a result, he almost taunts him, asking him what his real motives are and noting that he is not all that rich.
Insofar as good foils go, Marsden could prove to be one of the best. If he is not looking to have Coop arrested, that lends itself to another question: Could he want to work with him? At the same time, we saw in season 1 how messy that could be. This entire situation is going to be akin to opening a massive can of worms for all parties involved.
