Mayor of Kingstown season 5 premiere date: February update
With us now in the early days of February, can you expect more news on Mayor of Kingstown season 5 in the near future?
As you would imagine, the stakes for this particular edition of the Jeremy Renner series are going to be higher than ever, and there is one simple reason for it — we are preparing for the end of the line. Paramount+ was nice enough to make it clear from the start that this will be the final season, which does mean that we have more of an opportunity to prepare for the endgame. Is Mike going to survive it? That has to be one of the major questions now, largely because this is a man who has gone through so much and is occasionally just hanging on for dear life at this point.

No matter how Mayor of Kingstown ends, we do recognize that we will be waiting for a while in order to see it. The earliest we imagine that it surfaces is close to the end of the year, but not that much has been said publicly about filming as of yet. We’re okay if the story take some time to come together this time around, mostly because ending a show is such a difficult thing to do. There are always going to be divided opinions on series finales and because of that, the creative team has to just figure out what is right for them when the dust actually settles.
Our final expectation for February
Honestly, it is to not have many expectations at all. This is going to take a while but at least for now, we can just be happy to have the renewal confirmed. After all, there are so many other networks and streaming services out there that make you wait for so long to get news one way or another.
