Is there a chance that we are going to get some sort of Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 premiere date reasonably soon? For now let’s just go ahead and say that there are some reasons for hope.

After all, we have noted on a number of occasions already that filming for this batch of episodes is over, and has been for a little while. Meanwhile, this is hardly one of those shows that requires six months of visual effects or something to that effect. It can be turned around fairly quickly.

So is there a chance that a premiere-date reveal happens soon? Absolutely, but also define “soon.” If we are looking at this through the lens of what we saw last year, a premiere date reveal came about in March and Criminal Minds: Evolution itself aired in May. It would not be a huge shock if something similar happens here, mostly because Paramount+ benefits from having a consistent hit that a lot of people out there love to watch week after week. Also, if the episodes are done, why wait?

If there is any reason at all why there could be a change here, it is rather simple: The lineup may dictate it. Sometimes, streaming services do shift shows around so that there are reasons for people to subscribe almost constantly. The Paget Brewster – AJ Cook drama in particular is popular all over the world, so they especially want to ensure here that they make the most of the product that they have.

As for what we expect to see moving forward…

Obviously, the latest Elias Voit cliffhanger is going to loom large and there is no denying that. Meanwhile, we are expecting a big Luke Alvez story and for JJ, there is an opportunity to move forward after suffering the loss of Will in season 18.
