Lioness season 3 premiere date: A spot in the calendar

Even though it feels like we are still months away from the Lioness season 3 premiere over at Paramount+, can we still do some detective work? Absolutely! In particular, it does not feel like it is too early at this point to note where the military drama likely sits on the calendar — at least in comparison to some other shows from within the greater Taylor Sheridan universe.

Here is at least some of what we know at this point — the series premiere of The Madison is currently set for March 14. Meanwhile, a recent sizzle reel from the service seemed to suggest that we will be getting The Dutton Ranch, the long-awaited Yellowstone spin-off all about Beth and Rip, at some point fairly soon. We tend to think that both of these shows will be coming before the Zoe Saldana – Nicole Kidman drama but at the same time, we don’t think that we will be waiting here forever.

After all, our sentiment is that Lioness will be back on the air before more of Tulsa King, which has already started filming its fourth season. The same can be said for the upcoming final season of Mayor of Kingstown. We also tend to think that it could be heavily promoted given the strength of the first two seasons. While this show may not be as popular commercially as Landman these days, we would argue that it is one of the better projects that Sheridan has put together.

At this point, it remains our hope that we will be able to get into season 3 come May or June. As for whether or not this will be the final season, that does remain to be seen — this is an extremely busy cast who has a lot of other projects! At the same time, we also tend to think that the way this show is filmed does open the door for them to work on a number of other things at the same time.
