Next week on Hallmark Channel you will have a chance to see When Calls the Heart season 13 episode 4. So what lies ahead? Well, consider it a combination of a handful of different things.

First and foremost, lets just note that the title for this installment is “Until Proven Guilty” and just from that alone, it does feel fair to infer that there is a natural continuation here from what we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks with the fire. However, at the same time, there are going to be some lighter moments in this story, as well. How can there not be when you consider the fact that we’ve got a Hope Valley party at some point ahead?

In general, it is our feeling that this story represents the fact that Allie is getting older and the writers are looking to establish her as more and more as a focal part of the story. Of course, this also presents more challenges for Nathan, who has to adjust to her growing up while also getting deeper into his relationship with Elizabeth.

In general, we do tend to think that this episode could hit a number of notes — there will be emotional moments for sure, but we do think that the community aspect will be front and center in a fairly significant way. The producers know, after all, that escapism is one of the reasons why a lot of viewers have come to watch for the better part of a decade-plus.
