‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: That Ben / Sookie scoop that you (may?) demand

Are you enjoying the romantic subplot for Sookie Stackhouse right now on “True Blood” season 6? If you answer that question with a “no,” we can tell you already that you are not alone. There’s little questioning that this is a polarizing plot-line, even though we find Ben to be somewhat nice thus far, and actually better for her than some of the people that Sookie has dated over the years that some fans are still clamoring for. That is not to say that he’s a saint, but he shares similar traits to her, and we’re about to find out his motives.

According to TV Guide, Ben’s true purpose for being in Bon Temps will be made a little more clear during Sunday night’s new episode. Not only that, but Rob Kazinsky vows that that the feelings that are forming between his character and Anna Paquin’s are indeed real:

“Everything he says in the first few episodes are not lies. He has a real genuine fascination, adoration and love for Sookie.”

Will there be obstacles standing in their way? Definitely, with the biggest one being the sole fact that Sookie has more important things to worry about right now that romance, including the ancient vampire named Warlow that is out for her blood, Bill Compton really asking for the same thing, and the supposed faerie king / ancestor in Niall who is trying his best to offer up some assistance to both Sookie and Jason.
