As we get ourselves prepared to see Power Book IV: Force season 3 episode 9 on Starz next week, it makes sense to be prepared for just about everything. After all, remember that there are only two more episodes to go in the series, and we imagine that these are going to be violent, intense, and a whole lot more. How can they not be?

First and foremost, we’ll note that the promo for episode 9 indicates that there is all-out war coming for Tommy Egan. This is a man desperate for vengeance, but also drowning in his grief. Remember what just happened to JP. It may not be the first time that he’s lost someone close to him but at the same time, we do think the main of this lingers and won’t be going anywhere in the near future.

If you look below, you can see the full Power Book IV: Force season 3 episode 9 synopsis with more insight on what is ahead:

Revenge, new alliances and dangerous secrets collide, leaving everyone to fight dirty in a game with deadly consequences.

Just from reading that alone, doesn’t it feel like someone else could be dying? From where we sit, it does certainly feel that way.

One more thing to remember

The series finale for the Joseph Sikora series is actually set for January 16, as there is going to be a week off in between episodes 9 and 10 airing. Don’t be shocked if there is something in there that links up further with what we saw at the end of Power Book II: Ghost.

Here is the only thing that Starz is saying at this point about the final episode, which carries with it the title of “Beginning of the End”:

The mounting pressure for retaliation looms, as disastrous moves and shocking secrets shake the streets.
