All’s Fair renewed for season 2 over at Hulu

Even though there is a lot more drama coming when it comes to All’s Fair season 1 at Hulu, there is a lot more to say about the future.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service has picked up the Ryan Murphy legal drama starring Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash-Betts for another run after the first season kicked off to some impressive ratings. While it may be true the opening episodes were critically lambasted, that has not stopped viewers from checking out the show.

In a way, we do not think that the critical reception comes as much of a surprise. While Kardashian is far from perfect as divorce lawyer Allura, it also feel like there were many who watched the show with their mind already made up about its quality. Episode 4 turned out to be rather fantastic and while episode 5 presented a step backwards, there is still a lot to be interested in when it comes to the future. A season 2 would give the cast and crew an opportunity to regroup, evaluate what worked and what didn’t from the first season, and then find a way to proceed from there.
As for when a season 2 of All’s Fair is going to premiere, it is far too early to know any exact estimate. Our hope would be next fall, mostly because television in general could benefit from more series that are around on a fairly regular basis. Hulu has figured out how to make another hit in Only Murders in the Building an annual event, so why not go ahead and do something like that here, too? Is there any reason to go against it?
