Dancing with the Stars 34 finale: Who will win?
Next week on ABC you are going to have a chance to see the Dancing with the Stars 34 finale — with that in mind, who is most likely to take the Len Goodman Mirrorball home?
Well, first and foremost, we should start off here by noting that we’re not shocked at all with the five finalists we’ve received. We recognize that some preferred Whitney Leavitt to Dylan Efron talent-wise but the moment that Zac showed up in the ballroom last night, it felt like things were a done deal with him. Dylan is there with Jordan Chiles, Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, and Elaine Hendrix. Only one of them will be crowned the champ alongside their celebrity partner!

Now, here is where we will go ahead and say that as much fun as it would be to have a surprise, we aren’t getting one. Robert is easily going to be the champ of Dancing with the Stars 34 and we aren’t even sure it will be close. This is the most obvious winner of the show since Donny Osmond, someone who has dominated in terms of performances and views online. He also represents perfectly the new era of the show, where social-media is really important, as is the ability to bring in young fans.
If you look at the rest of the field for challengers, we will say that Dylan does have the ability to bring in people as a darkhorse — also, Daniella Karagach is one of the best pros out there for choreographing freestyles. Meanwhile, Elaine is someone we’re at least curious about since she has a combination of millennial nostalgia and a really inspiring story. She is someone we’ve been worried about being a shock elimination all season long, but we are very-much thrilled she is there. She’s also the finalist with the highest variance; we could see her finishing anywhere from fifth to second.
In the end, though, this season is Robert’s world and we are all just living in it.
