Down Cemetery Road season 1 episode 5: Zoe makes a discovery

If you have been out there hoping for Down Cemetery Road to really start to feature the character of Zoe a little bit more, you are in luck! One of the goals of the next new episode “Slow Dying” appears to be getting a chance to see this character in a spot where she can deliver more answers.

Is this needed? We cannot even begin to express how much so! After all, a significant chunk of episode 4 was spent just watching her try to prod some sources for information — and then eventually being warned to steer clear. It largely just circled the wagons of what we have seen before and in general, this show needs to be more propulsive than that. It has been for Sarah and moving forward, it does feel like there is a good chance that will be the case for both parties.

Ultimately, Downey’s past has to be one of the parts of the show we are most intrigued by, mostly because a lot of it at this point circles back to a pretty singular question: Why is he being targeted so much? What happened to him, Singleton, and the others? It may be tied in some way to the medication they are taking, or simply what they know. Singleton is gone and at this point, it certainly seems as though Downey is next. We are basically at the halfway point of the story and from here on out, we imagine that everything will become more chaotic.
