NCIS season 23 episode 3 sneak peek: Enter the night shift

After the epic two-part premiere event, it appears as though NCIS season 23 episode 3 tomorrow night is returning to its roots.

So, what does that mean? Well, let’s put it in rather simple terms: This is going to be a chance for another new case with a little comedy along the way. In particular, “The Sound and the Fury” is going to be bringing back in Zane Holtz as Agent Sawyer, a good foil for Nick Torres and someone whose cup of overconfidence often runs over. He’s one of the people working the night shift, who are often around and yet, we rarely ever seen them.

If you head over to the link here now, though, you can see a new NCIS sneak peek that features Sawyer making a big return to the show as Torres and Knight end up paying him a visit. As it turns out, they will need the help of the night crew, which he tries to make into an over-the-top spectacle.

For the record, this preview also is important for referencing the fact that Knight is now doing a little bit of training with NCIS Elite, a group that he actually wanted to be a part of, as well. A lot of this is tied into something that has been a long-term part of Knight’s story on the show, which is her rising up the ranks as fast as possible to cement a legacy as one of the most important people in the organization. A lot of this was encouraged by her father, but we have also seen her do whatever it takes to cement her own legacy, as well.
