Gen V season 2 episode 8 spoilers: How will finale end?

Next week on Prime Video you are going to be seeing Gen V season 2 episode 8 — and this one has a chance to be totally insane.

After all, consider what we saw transpire at the end of episode 7! Marie was desperate to try and get Thomas Godolkin to help her to take down Cipher. However, what she failed to realize was that Godolkin was Cipher an that she was creating another major problem for herself.

Now, the finale is likely going to be about whether or not Godolkin can be stopped before he culls most of the herd at the university. He wants to take down all the weak Supes in order to find a way to make the strong even stronger, and that means there are a lot of casualties ahead.

Then, there is another question

Is Homelander going to turn up? What about some of the other power players from The Boys? There are a lot of different things to consider at this point, since this is a show that does love crossovers. Also, Antony Starr did appear in the season 1 finale of Gen V. 

No matter what happens, we do tend to think there is a great that chance there will be an awesome cliffhanger at the end here — one that will likely carry over to the fifth and final season of the flagship show. The future of the spin-off is still unclear, but we really have to wait and see precisely what is going to happen with Homelander and other key characters. Everyone is most likely keeping their cards close to the vest at this point for a pretty good reason.
