Only Murders in the Building season 5 episode 7: Bash’s secret?

As we look more and more towards Only Murders in the Building season 5 episode 7 on Hulu next week, know one thing in particular: All eyes are on Bash. At this point, how can they not be? We are talking about a guy (played by Christoph Waltz) who has more money than he knows what to do with. By virtue of that, why is he working so hard in order to spy on the trio?

After all, consider all the resources that the man has: He has access to a lot of the Arconia security footage thanks to his parent company. Meanwhile, he’s also been catfishing Charles through his dating app. He clearly is desperate to hide something … but what is it?

Well, at the moment it is fairly easy to assume that Bash is worried about something coming out with either the death of Lester or Nicky, but it may not be as simple as it first seems. It is hard to think that one of the wealthiest people in the world is going to be out there killing someone when he can hire someone else to do it. Or, this may just be about him trying to protect his own self-interest, as he does not have to be directly involved in a murder to be guilty of something.

No matter what happens, it feels like it is high time to get answers on the billionaires in some form. There are only four episodes left this season, and we are also interested in learning the truth about the finger at the same time! Who has it and, beyond just that, what are they trying to hide? This case, at least from where we stand, is extremely difficult to solve.
